New Balance was created in Boston, Massachusetts, by a british immigrant, William J.Riley. After 30 years of selling arch supports the company began to make sneakers. Riley started to improve the comfort and shoe fit which led to an increase in athletic sportswear globally and it quickly became one of the most comfortable sneakers around. Today they are one of the few companies that still makes their shoes in the United States. New balance keeps on making classic shapes they have been known for and at the same time collaborates with different designers and companies.
