STOCKHOLM (SURFBOARD) CLUB
Manne Glad, founder and Creative Director of Stockholm Surfboard Club, has explored all directions of surfing varied culture of art, music, and craft. His multidisciplinary approach attracted Jonny Johansson, founder and Creative Director of the Swedish brand Acne Studios, who brought Manne to work with him as a designer at the brand.
During these years, their mutual obsession for surfboards sparked the idea of creating a space to let the past, present, and future of surfboard culture, art, and fashion, flourish in symbiosis. This design-driven space became the Club, a surfboard shaping studio and workshop located in Stockholm, Sweden.
Stockholm Surfboard Club is reinventing the classic surf brand in a new shape with the ambition to create a unique angle on surfing in the world of fashion and art.
